Somewhat sceptical, I attended an appointment with Shuna Hammocks. My fears were totally unfounded. She was brilliant. How I wish GPs were the same. In a consultation lasting two-and-a-half hours, I was treated with respect and genuine interest. Her approach was intelligent and well-informed. She was considerate, patient, respectful, insightful and utterly professional. Her knowledge was enormously impressive. She does not just ‘do’ a job, she loves her job and ‘lives’ her job. Hair is obviously her passion. More than that, it is in her blood. Consequently, she has that lateral, all-encompassing approach that always reassures.
I felt immediately at ease and knew she CARED. She asked copious vital questions. Nothing was too much trouble. I was no longer a number but an individual with individual concerns.
