Where did it start?
When I first opened Shuna Hammocks Trichology in 2010, I was lucky enough to have already 11 years of experience in the profession of trichology but knew little of running my own business. I attended various local networking groups and was introduced by other local disciplines within the Sussex region who would reciprocate referrals. I constantly kept asking in my head: “It’s not what you know (well, actually my qualification and experience were vital) but who you know”. While all businesses differ in how they market their business, trade or profession, I quickly understood how vital establishing a strong online presence via a website, visibility within search engines, and social media was to this new world I was embarking on.
I am grateful for wonderful people such as Jinnat Ul Hasan and Bright Light Film to help me in my journey.
Who is Beata?
I want to return this favour and give my energy return to my dear friend Beata. She has just had a career change and become a fully qualified beauty therapist. Her Diplomas are in Microdermabrasion, Luxury Facials. Skin Needling, Dermaplaning, Chemical Peels, Light Therapy, to name but a few. Beata has medically approved certificates all around her beautiful room in Worthing. She is a member of The Professional Standards Authority, The Joint Council for Cosmetic Practitioners. She is CPD registered- Beata (like me) will have to attend various seminars and lectures each year to update and renew her points to be on a date to practice.
Last week, I was lucky enough to have a treatment with Beata and found it the most relaxing and luxurious treatment. I know her well enough to share how meticulous she is and always strives for the very best in all she does. I feel this service is very much called for when women want to take the very best care of their skin and appearance.
