Visitor’s Question
Hello, I’ve been struggling with an incredibly itchy and irritated scalp for years. I used Nizoral and while it helped at first, now it’s stopped working.
I want to sort this out. May I arrange an appointment asap?
Thanks x
Shuna’s Answer
Dear Mr X,
Thank you for reaching out—I know how exhausting and frustrating an itchy, irritated scalp can be, especially when nothing seems to work long-term.
You’ve taken an important step in seeking help, and I’d be more than happy to support you in getting this under control.
Stress can play a role in scalp irritation, as it can trigger inflammation and disrupt the scalp’s natural balance.
However, sensitivity like yours often has multiple contributing factors, so I’d want to explore everything—from your skin type and current hair care routine to lifestyle factors and any underlying scalp conditions.
At your appointment, I’ll assess your scalp conditions thoroughly and tailor my recommendations to what your skin truly needs.
In many cases, I can suggest something for you to start using straight away to help ease the irritation. I always follow up with an email summarising my advice, so you’ll have clear guidance to refer back to.
Let’s arrange a time to get you in as soon as possible—I’d love to help you find lasting relief. Please let me know your availability, and we’ll get you booked in.
Best wishes,
Shuna
